Hing, or asafoetida, is a resin obtained from the root of the Ferula plant, and is often used as a condiment to spice up dishes. With a pungent flavour and smell, and its ability to generate warmth, Hing is a useful addition to your food if you suffer from indigestion and bloating.

Hing can help break down undigested substances and promote Vata and Kapha balance in the gut.

No adverse effects are observed at recommended doses. Not safe for children.

How To Use

External: Dissolve 10g in 100ml of warmed sesame oil. Apply in a clockwise direction to the abdomen in case of discomfort.

Internal: Fry ¼ teaspoon with spices while cooking, particularly for high protein meals.
